  diamondiiz does bring up a valid point that went totally over my head. Where is the Watchtower letterhead?

  I know it may not matter to some people, but it is something that always seems to be in the Society's letters, and thus adds to the validity.

  I wanted to add, with these letters, I just can't see how the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is trying to weasel their way out of this court case.

  They are providing direction and saying what to do based on a book they published!

  For those that can't see the whole letter because of the size, go up all the way to the right hand corner of the JWN page, as if you were logging in. Just under your username there should be a box with two arrows pointing left and right.

  Click on that and it will expand the JWN thread to widescreen view.

  If you want to do undo widescreen view, click the box with two lines going up and down.

  It worked for me.

  Ditto on the video - VERY, VERY GRAPHIC. I saw it and it makes me sick to my stomach. It's just plain disgusting, but more so because this nonsense is done in the name of religion, and the fool doing the killing believes he's right.

  If there is a god........................................................., who's side was he on at this disgusting display of worship?

  I certainly don't believe the Christian is now in "a better place". That's a cop out, and poor reasoning. He did not deserve to die like that just to receive a "reward".

  Again, if there is a god................................................where the eff was he?

  Oh yea, I HATE religion. ALL OF IT.

  The light keeps diminishing

  today's wt says it all.

  read this, it accurately portrays the last 50 years of fading light from the saddest bunch of con-men in history.. 15 to answer, imagine that you are reading a book by the light of a 100-watt bulb, but then the bulb fails.

  since you are left in the dark, you immedi- ately notice what happened and replace the burned-out bulb with a new one.

  I found out my former bulb maker was full of shit with their 100 watt claims, for it never gave off the same amount of light, constantly changing.

  So I switched to highly efficient "apostate" light instead.

  Apparently now, my eyes are misleading me!

  And yet I've never been able to see so clearly, despite former light claiming to be "so bright".

  Let me premise my response by pointing out what a beautiful Saturday it is today! And I ain't "enjoying" it out in service. ?? The key word in all this is business. WBTS is a business.
  I thought about sending info about this court case to several people I know. But sadly sometimes it screams apostate even though it's world news. Let's take it for what it is though - wrongdoing. The society could not even have been brought to court if their policies were right, let alone lose and have to pay such a high amount. Point the finger if you'd like, but this incident, amongst many, involves the society. And that was seen in court. They may not be fully responsible, but are an accomplice at least. To say it's Satan that caused this is to do what others do to children that suffer sexual abuse - pretend it never happened. And that, well, it's just wrong. Thanks for the updates everyone! CoC
